Jessica trained me as a volunteer and mentored me as a VISTA member. She created safe spaces to fail and grow my leadership. I learned how to be confident with myself and how to reach my full potential as a facilitator. She modeled effective communication, commitment to inclusivity and diversity, and willingness to be put in uncomfortable situations in order to grow.
